Multi-Axis Tubing Clamp, Prototype. 3D printed with PETG filament, 2026
This clamp acts as an anchor for the tubing that usually hangs over the edge of the patient chair or side tray table during Extracorporeal Photopheresis(ECP) treatment. When the clamp is not in place, the potential for the weight of the tubing to pull and dislodge the IV increases. If the IV is dislodged while the white blood cells are being separated and collected, the two to four-hour treatment must be stopped, and the blood that has been collected can be lost.
